The Law Offices of Pullano & Farrow is looking into claims against travel nursing companies for exploiting traveling nurses by slashing pay-rates in the middle of their contractual term, miscalculating overtime wages, and related wage violations.

 

The number of traveling nurses has exponentially grown during the COVID-19 pandemic. In our preliminary investigations, we have found that many travel nursing companies are making attractive offers to traveling nurses to work at a hospital or healthcare facility for a defined term at an agreed-upon pay rate.

 

Once the nurses relocate, often at great cost, these travel nursing companies are engaging in “bait-and-switch” tactics by substantially reducing the pay rates and promised benefits within just the first few weeks of the nurses’ contracts. The nurses often have no option but to accept.
