About Us

Pullano & Farrow was founded in 2013 with a clear vision: to build a full‑service law firm that delivers top‑quality legal representation to clients locally, regionally, and across the country. Drawing on their experience at large “Big Law” firms in Western New York, our founding partners saw firsthand how traditional firm structures often limit efficiency, flexibility, and client value. They set out to create something better, preserving the strengths of larger firms while eliminating practices that do not benefit clients. By placing client needs at the center of every decision, Pullano & Farrow has built strong, lasting relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and results.

From the beginning, we have taken pride in cultivating a team of skilled, motivated, and client‑focused professionals. We believe in a collaborative, team‑based approach because the best outcomes often come from shared insight and combined expertise.

Since opening our doors, Pullano & Farrow has grown significantly and now includes 13 attorneys practicing in Corporate Law, Labor & Employment, Health Care, Trusts & Estates, and both commercial and personal Litigation. With more than 150 years of collective legal experience, our team is well positioned to meet your business and personal legal needs with confidence and clarity.

Over 10 years of a Different Client Experience

Why P&F?

At many law firms, attorneys compete with one another for clients. At our firm, we take the opposite approach: we incentivize collaboration. Our attorneys freely share the full range of the firm’s institutional knowledge, ensuring every client receives the benefit of our collective expertise. This structure allows our lawyers to develop deep, focused knowledge in their practice areas, rather than spreading themselves thin as generalists.

In contrast, at traditional firms, a corporate attorney might attempt to handle a real estate matter simply to secure a personal bonus, learning on the client’s time and at the client’s expense. Systems like that ultimately harm clients. We have eliminated those misaligned incentives. Instead, we reward efficiency, cooperation, and high-quality results. The outcome is a unified team of attorneys working together to achieve the best possible results for our clients.

Many firms also rely on attorneys as salespeople, compensating them primarily for bringing in business. This bloated structure increases costs without providing any added value to clients.

That said, we recognize that traditional firms get many things right. We built upon the strengths of the large firms where we received our training. An attorney’s foremost responsibility is to zealously protect the interests of their client, and doing so requires real expertise, something long-established firms often excel at. The partners at P&F were trained at some of the largest firms in Western New York and have expanded that foundation into a broad base of knowledge capable of handling any challenge our clients face.

Our strong ties to the legal community also provide an invaluable network. For example, we collaborate with a retired New York State Supreme Court justice who serves in an “of counsel” role. While we continually seek to deepen our expertise, we remain committed to putting clients first, which is why we believe that training new lawyers should happen on our time, not on the client’s dime.

Fees
Of all the challenges legal clients encounter, the uncertainty around the cost of legal services is often the most persistent and the most damaging. Traditional firms frequently nickel and dime clients, offering vague estimates and complicated rate structures. When the matter concludes, clients are often met with an inflated invoice filled with unexpected charges. The firm may benefit, but clients understandably feel taken advantage of. These issues arise because many firms reward attorneys for prolonging matters with unnecessary work, leaving clients to absorb the cost. The prevailing standard in the industry is the billable hour, where clients pay for time spent rather than value delivered. In almost any other industry, such a model would be unacceptable.

At Pullano & Farrow, we looked beyond the traditional law firm model. Instead of focusing on time, we focus on results. Fair and transparent pricing is far more important to us than maximizing revenue on each matter. From the beginning, our partners recognized that strong client relationships are the foundation of effective representation. This is why 90% of our clients return to us for multiple matters. They understand that they are not simply purchasing our time. They are relying on us to solve their legal problems.

To support straightforward and transparent pricing, we offer alternative and flat‑fee billing arrangements whenever possible and across all practice areas. These structures provide clearly defined, predictable costs, help businesses plan more effectively, and offer peace of mind in otherwise stressful circumstances. Even in situations where hourly billing is appropriate or necessary, we provide accurate estimates and ensure clients fully understand the basis of our costs. This approach further incentivizes us to work efficiently, and we take pride in delivering consistently high‑quality legal services through experience, focus, and dedication.

Ampersand

The Ampersand in our logo is there for a reason; it represents the credo we live by. Our clients require more than simple legal guidance. They require business acumen and experience, and we provide that. Our clients require more than an interpretation of a new statute or regulation. They need recommendations for practical implementation, and we provide that. Our clients require more than an email going unanswered or a call going to voicemail. They need face‑to‑face interaction to address pressing problems, and we provide that.

Most importantly, our clients require more than a law firm that becomes an added business expense or a drain on corporate resources. They want a business partner who will guide them through simple and complex legal issues without overbilling for the counsel provided, and we provide that.
